I was a graduate orthodontc professor at a major west coast public university. I was director of orthodontic technique for 13 yrs. Part of my duties involved evaluation of orthodontic materials, I therefore was also the materials specialist for the orthodontic department and was asked to lecture internationally to represent our department. I have been in practice for nearly 32 years.

Mimic alginate has been the best fast set alginate I have used. Easy to mix, very snooth, doesn't tear badly when taking impression with braces, dimensionably stable, and models are easily poured.. Trimmed models are very accurate. Only downside is the blue color left on models Not hard to remove. I am thinking of switching to blue diekeen.

I am hoping that Dentalmarketplace can get this material back on a regular basis
